Payment information
Whop handles payment details in its embedded checkout. This application does not store card information. Loading checkout connects your browser to Whop.
Public contributions
Statistics count completed contributions. Public names and messages are optional. After a confirmed $1 payment, you can choose to publish a name and message in the contribution feed. Staying anonymous hides your name; a message you choose to save is still public. Skipping the form leaves your contribution anonymous. Billing names and email addresses are never copied into the public feed. To request removal of public details, use the support option attached to your Whop receipt.
Checkout cookie
We use an essential cookie lasting up to 24 hours to let the browser used for checkout submit public details for its own contribution. This cookie contains a random token and checkout reference, not your name, message, email, or card information.

Developer/legal TODO: document the actual data controller, hosting and payment providers, cookies, lawful bases, retention periods, international transfers, privacy rights, and contact process after the production data flow is established.
